Opel is showing Prototypes and Concept Studies in an exhibition |

Opel G100 Konzept
From today on, Opel is showing in a special exhibition in Rüsselsheim,
a full assortment of Concept- vehicles and Design- Studies. One can
marvel six vehicles from the past 40 years; they have never in this fashion
been added to a mass-production line. Merely the GT Experimental was the first
by Opel constructed Concept-Car that made it into mass-production in 1968 as Opel GT.
Up until now never publicly shown was one by Bertone styled and portrayed
by the Swiss-American, Manfred Wyder, a Design Study of the Roadster G100 of 1999.
The Exhibition can be visited at Opel on the Friedrich-Lutzmann-Ring 2 in Rüsselsheim.
Exhibit is open on weekdays from 8:30 AM until 5:30PM.

A combination of good aerodynamics with an extremely low drag coefficient of 0.22 and lightweight construction of 750kg enables the car to achieve incredibly low fuel consumption.
The G90 gets an estimated 80 Miles to the Gallon of fuel
The G90 manages to suppress CO2 emissions to just 90g per km.
Vehicle is designed to receive hybrid drive variations.
Reverse gear by electric motor, makes smaller gearbox w/o reverse gear set.
Application of LED lighting to conserve power consumption.
Uses Lap-Top for rear view mirror. If desired
