From today on, Opel is showing in a special exhibition in Rüsselsheim, a full assortment of Concept- vehicles and Design- Studies. One can marvel six vehicles from the past 40 years; they have never in this fashion been added to a mass-production line. Merely the GT Experimental was the first by Opel constructed Concept-Car that made it into mass-production in 1968 as Opel GT.

Up until now never publicly shown was one by Bertone styled and portrayed by the Swiss-American, Manfred Wyder, a Design Study of the Roadster G100 of 1999.

The Exhibition can be visited at Opel on the Friedrich-Lutzmann-Ring 2 in Rüsselsheim. Exhibit is open on weekdays from 8:30 AM until 5:30PM.

  • A combination of good aerodynamics with an extremely low drag coefficient of 0.22 and lightweight construction of 750kg enables the car to achieve incredibly low fuel consumption.

  • The G90 manages to suppress CO2 emissions to just 90g per km.

  • Vehicle is designed to receive hybrid drive variations.

  • Reverse gear by electric motor, makes smaller gearbox w/o reverse gear set.

  • Application of LED lighting to conserve power consumption.

  • Uses Lap-Top for rear view mirror. If desired
